The Connecticut Lacrosse Officials Association is an organization which services high schools, private schools, club, and youth leagues. We provide lacrosse officials throughout Connecticut.. The Western Connecticut Lacrosse Officials Association overlaps with our organization In New Haven and Litchfield Counties, and provides officials in Fairfield County.
Adults interested in refereeing high school need to complete a training program and pass a background check performed by the Connecticut Association of Schools - Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference. For more information please email cloaeb@proton.me
If you, or anyone you know, have interest in becoming, or re-certifying as, a 2026 Certified Junior Boys Lacrosse Official below are the instructions and CLOA Clinic schedules.
The requirements are:
1: Ensure you have a current USA Lacrosse membership – with “official” designation. Contact USA Lacrosse Membership to ensure verification or if you need assistance.
2: Attend a rules & mechanics clinic
